Uploading Files and Images is finally here!

We're excited to introduce incredible new capabilities now available in Sales Assist!

You can now create Items from PDFs, Powerpoints, Docs or Excel spreadsheets stored on your device 🎉

This was a highly requested feature that we're excited to roll out to all Sales Assist users who have permission to publish their own content Items.

Supported types include: PDF, PPT/PPTX, DOC/DOCX, XLS/XLSX up to 10MB in size, directly from your device. And a reminder that depending on the file type, a different viewer will be used to display the content in all its glory (i.e. Microsoft's viewer is used for Powerpoints, maintaining transitions, etc.)

Upload Images

You can now also upload images for both your tiles as well as custom shares.

Unlike uploading files, images can come from multiple sources - including a web search.The maximum file size for images is 5MB. After uploading, images will automatically be scaled down (if needed) to meet the recommended tile image dimension (500px wide) for optimal performance.

Technical stuff: Files and images are hosted in Uberflip's AWS S3 instance, and served via Filestack's CDN. When you delete an Item, the files associated with that Item will be permanently deleted as well.

Other important improvements:

  1. Newly created Sales Stream now automatically generate Share Tokens (note: requires app update). This will ensure that even if a prospect accesses your Stream without the token in the URL, an activity event will still register. Never miss a moment!

     
  2. Search for Streams based on prospect. You may have already noticed that when searching for Streams, you can simply put the email or domain of the prospect to find their Stream
